The kids at the beach

Flake and Emma were going to the beach one Sunday morning. When they got there they swam on their surfboards. They saw more people in the water.
Suddenly they saw a mermaid sitting on the rocks. Flake and Emma started to swim towards the mermaid but she swam away. The water was too deep and the waves were coming in. Flake was drowning and Emma was sinking too.
The mermaid dived under them and she pulled them up to shore. They all became friends and they talked about coming to the beach again.
Mum and dad said, "We're going home now."
So they said goodbye to the mermaid and went home.
